New Design

Design of the Edita table combines shape of robust, rural aesthetic with a light table top. The beauty of solid wood stands out on uninterrupted legs. Veneered table top looks elegantly and has an exceptionally smooth surface. Finely smoothed edges of all parts contribute to tenderness and lightness of the table. Emphasis on timelessness and quality of details makes the Edita table centre of a household.

Using only one hand

Legs of the extendable table can be optionally equipped with integrated wheels. Thus, the extension is easier.

Two systems

Edita offers two possibilities of extension system. One is with integrated attached inserts where the extra leaf opens easily and lays down at its place using one hand. This system is composed of two conntected openable halves. Another possibility is an extra insert in one single piece laid inside of the table which can be put using two hands in the free area between aprons of the table.

Veneer as a perfect element

The precision veneered table top adds subtle and light appearance to the table. Solid wood legs and aprons contribute to its durability and stability.

Embedded table top

Table top is inserted directly between uninterrupted legs. It highlights a robust construction and material. Optically there is more of the beauty of wood to see.

Precise joints

Thanks to the traditional technique of glued mortise-and-tenon joints your table will be strong even after decades of use. Except for the extension mechanism, it does not contain any metal joint.

Configurator

Beech has the least distinctive pattern of all our wood species. Its surface is therefore perfectly smooth. It has a light yellow to pinkish-brown colour which will darken slightly over time. We buy beech logs directly from the surrounding forests in the Eagle Mountains.

Beech from the Eagle Mountains often contains a dark core and small knots which is well distinguishable from the lighter wood. In our production we choose wood with beautiful dark grain. This creates a unique pattern and decorative appearance of products made of heart beech.

Oak furniture is characterized by a more distinctive pattern. The texture of the wood can be felt on the surface. It has a yellow-brown colour with a hint of golden colour. We select oak wood in Czech certified forests within 150 km from the Eagle Mountains.

American walnut is halfway between beech and oak in terms of its distinctive grain. The wood texture is less obvious by touch. It is the darkest of our three wood species. It is light brown to blackish brown in colour and will lighten slightly over time. We import this precious American walnut directly from North America.

Matný lak je nejodolnější povrchová ochrana, kterou může dřevěný povrch mít. Snadno odolá i rozlitému vínu, dětskému jídlu nebo horké kávě. A nevyžaduje téměř žádnou údržbu. Oproti oleji je pocit z přírodního materiálu při dotyku méně patrný, přesto zůstává povrch velice příjemný a přirozený.
