GATTA CHAIR WHOLLY WOODEN

Design židle Gatta je založen na pocitu lehkosti. Při pohledu na židli i při sezení. Podnoží s šikmými nohami konstrukci opticky odlehčuje. Ergonomicky tvarovaný sedák je spojený s opěradlem do jedné subtilní a pružné skořepiny. Sezení na židli je tak stejně příjemné jako pohled na ni.

Precizní spoje

Díky tradiční technice čepovaných lepených spojů zůstává židle pevná i po desetiletích užívání. Neobsahuje jediný kovový spoj.

Pro dlouhé obědy

Ergonomicky tvarovaný sedák a opěradlo jsou vyrobeny jako jeden kus z vrstvené přírodní dýhy. Pevný materiál je částečně pružný. Židle je přirozeně pohodlná i po hodinách stolování.

Jednou rukou

Gatta váží jen 5 kg. Je lehká a velmi snadná na manipulaci.

Configurator

Beech has the least distinctive pattern of all our wood species. Its surface is therefore perfectly smooth. It has a light yellow to pinkish-brown colour which will darken slightly over time. We buy beech logs directly from the surrounding forests in the Eagle Mountains.

Beech from the Eagle Mountains often contains a dark core and small knots which is well distinguishable from the lighter wood. In our production we choose wood with beautiful dark grain. This creates a unique pattern and decorative appearance of products made of heart beech.

Oak furniture is characterized by a more distinctive pattern. The texture of the wood can be felt on the surface. It has a yellow-brown colour with a hint of golden colour. We select oak wood in Czech certified forests within 150 km from the Eagle Mountains.

American walnut is halfway between beech and oak in terms of its distinctive grain. The wood texture is less obvious by touch. It is the darkest of our three wood species. It is light brown to blackish brown in colour and will lighten slightly over time. We import this precious American walnut directly from North America.

Olej dokonale zachová autentický pocit přírodního povrchu dřeva. Na pohled i na pohmat. Oproti laku je méně odolný vůči rozlitému červenému vínu, dětskému jídlu nebo horkým nápojům a vyžaduje pravidelnou údržbu. V případě nehody ale desku ošetřenou olejem snadno opravíte i v domácích podmínkách.

Matný lak je nejodolnější povrchová ochrana, kterou může dřevěný povrch mít. Snadno odolá i rozlitému vínu, dětskému jídlu nebo horké kávě. A nevyžaduje téměř žádnou údržbu. Oproti oleji je pocit z přírodního materiálu při dotyku méně patrný, přesto zůstává povrch velice příjemný a přirozený.
